Once upon a time on the web, 10th of October 2011.

Web is a medium which reminds us how temporary and unstable is everything we make. Once upon a time, now one cannot find it not
even on the Wayback Machine. Nobody thought it was important. And it probably wasn't. But, it is important for this post which
deals with a quick and quite incomplete retrospective of my (past) web pages. Once upon a time, no longer there, only
images for Construction of Reality remained. This post begins with my pages from year 2003 (image above).
It left a very dark impression to some. And I also eventually got bored with black and white and courier font. That is why that
year I prepared another version of the pages, which, however, never saw the light of the web (below). In the image below you can
perhaps recognize construction of the carbon nanotube >> published on the cover of
"Carbon Nanotube and Graphene Device Physics.

I don't know what was happening between years 2003 and 2006, but the next version of the web pages that I managed to locate was from year 2006 (below). Again duotonal, obviously I had some color issues in those times.

These pages contained two galleries: one related to raytracing and another to photography. The image below shows the raytracing gallery. Perhaps you can recognize >> caffeine free Mother Water and >> nanobots.

The image below shows the gallery of photographs. It contained photos of Brijuni, Rovinj, Skradin, Lubenice, Dubrovnik, canyon of river Krka, Orlec (Cres) and Veli Lošinj.

I also found a variant from year 2006 which was never realized as a part of the web. It is shown in the image below. Maybe you can recognize turnip yellow mosaic virus shown on the pages of Construction of Reality in the post >> gallery of viruses and >> chiral domes and Buckminster Fuller. One can also see one of the weird shapes (chestnut-like) shown in the post >> misshaped.

And finally, version of the pages which were active just before I started Construction of Reality are shown in the image below, in the state in which they were in year 2009. It was conceived that these pages be some sort of windows to rendered worlds, that is why all the images were made from five parts which represent five windows. The image below shows the spline mountains which were >> one of the first posts on the pages of Construction of Reality.

Clicking the "windows" lead to other "windows to the backyard", and the image below shows virtual flowers I made to demonstrate the stereoscopic anaglyph technique. You can see the whole image in >> my paper on stereoscopy (download PDF, in Croatian).

A secret meeting in the North Pole (below).

The image below was inspired by a theory I made to explain electron-phonon coupling on surfaces. This paper of mine >> can be downloaded HERE.

Erythrocytes (below).

Foam (below). I may yet write a special post about that.

Hasta la Victoria siempre. Goga (below).

Plough trails (below).

The image below shows the monument in the desert constructed from the wave function density published in my paper from year 2002 which you can >> download OVDJE.

Computer generated naive art. One of "naive landscapes", in the series of experiments discussed in >> a previous post.

Face on a planet (below). It was made by a civilization that had to leave.

Cuboctahedral clusters (below). They were made according to >> my paper from year 2003 (download).

Reinterpretation of a photograph with the help of PovRay (below). A similar technique was applied in the images from the post >> Nikola Tesla.

Virus polyhedra (below). A part of this image was published in the >> paper I wrote for Matematičko-fizički list (download; in Croatian).

Covering a cylinder by hexagons (below). I discussed mathematics (and physics) of this problem in my >> paper on adsorption of atoms on carbon nanotubes (download).

And that's it for this post. A brief reanimation in the vastness of the web history is finished.
