There was a time when our planet was inhabited by large see animals of tame nature. These animals were called whales. They were extinct more than 50 years ago, before your parents were even born, children. Those were mighty and huge animals, which produced weird sounds that we could only partially hear. Their conversations were mostly silent for us. But we could hear them using our machines. Even today we do not quite know what their words ment and whether that was a language at all. The last holographs and voices of a whale, and perhaps this was the last whale, were recorded in the summer of year 2049. In this museum we take great care to preserve them, and that is why your class has the opportunity to see them. It is a unique opportunity, children, and you will remember it for long time.

The oceans were filthy then, polluted by garbage that people produced to poison the planet for a long time. In the end, they poisoned the whales also. You can see how the images are blurry, as if the light passes through a fog or smoke. That is because the ocean was full of dissolved particles of polution. It wasn't always so. There was a time when the oceans were transparent and light passed through them, reaching large depths. These were beautiful sights, full of color, fish of all sorts, algae and coral. The sun was still a friend then. Not today.

And also not when the last whale was seen. It was recorded by many of our underwater posts set to monitor the state of the ocean. It is strange that it swam from one to the other, following the order that scientists used to install them, as if it exactly knew where they were. That is why we managed to record it many times.
