Desert dreams (7th of February 2010)

When they finally managed to decipher those fine signals, they saw an image. The desert was dreaming. It was dreaming of some time from its long history, the time when some four-legged hump-backed animals were passing through it, leaving behind a dense network of smooth tracks. Some scientists believed that such animals never existed, that they were some kind of constructed reality, sand forms made by combining something that really existed and the tissue of the desert - the sand. It was the desert itself. The woken desert in motion, that finally found the strength to leave. Slowly and orderly, but tirelessly and certainly. The desert was finally leaving towards the colored sky. At least it was dreaming of leaving, and that was quite similar. It was a beautiful and poetic interpretatcion of a dream that most of "serious" scientists did not consider to worth anything. Perhaps they were right, although noone and never will know. Therefore, there wasn't much sense to talk about "truth".

A big stone form was a lot more difficult to decipher. One of the interpretations was that these were stone remains, some kind of a "skeleton" of gigantic and half-inteligent animals that burried their dead perpendicularly into the sand. The Earth was at some time a home of weird creatures. And the desert witnessed it all. It was a mute witness, until now.
