I remember I often recited this poem during student parties. I would begin with announcement that I will recite unofficially the shortest poem in the world, which I am the author of. Then, with calm and deep voice, I would say "We humans", and then, after a suitable pause, I would juicily and loudly grunt. It is in fact difficult to describe this sound as "GRUNT !" - in the original, Croatian version of the poem I wrote "GROK !".
